Gutermann natural cotton thread is a 100% mercerised cotton thread. It is exceptionally strong and has a naturally lustrous appearance. The softness of the natural thread allows for a smooth and even seam.

This thread is ideal for many applications such as:
- lock and step seams
- overlock and safety seams
- ornamental stitches and decorative seams.

It is soft and supple as well as tear and abrasion resistant. It is light resist and and colour fast. It can be washed up to 95 degrees and ironed with a hot iron.
Fine but strong with a waxed finish which gives Gutermann quilting thread added strength and ensures that it rarely tangles.  Suitable for hand quilting, only.  100% cotton
